Great Dunmow Soapbox Race 2024

Watch as our racers take on jumps, obstacles and a few special suprises as they battle it out to be crowned champion of the Great Dunmow Soapbox Race 2024. Powered by nothing but courage and gravity, these brave racers will be putting their homemade karts and bodies through their paces while raising much needed funds to important charities.

With entertainment for the kids, a whole variety of food to choose from, bar and stalls, there really is something for the entire family. People have flown all across the world to be at this and event and now you could join the 20,000 plus people that arrive every year to watch the largest independent soapbox race in the UK. 

To date, the event has raised in excess of £150,000 for local causes. This year we will be raising funds for Diabetes UK, The Robin Cancer Trust, Accuro, Rainbow Rural, Essex Search & Rescue, Mind West Essex, The Maddi Foundation and our hosts, Great Dunmow Round Table. By purchasing your ticket, 100% of the cost and any donation you make will go straight into the pockets of these worthy causes.

Free parking is available a short walk from the event and friendly, well-behaved dogs are welcome.
